In a picture perfect location, this beautiful cottage has wraparound views over Cleggan bay. It is located a short stroll into the village of Cleggan with its bars and shops. The harbour is the gateway to Inisbofin, a trip to this island is a must during your holiday in this beautiful part of Connemara.

The holiday cottage is extremely spacious and beautifully maintained. A number of beautiful beaches dot the coastline between Cleggan and Claddaghduff all the way around the peninsula, including Sallerna and Rossadillisk. This property has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 7 people:

From here you can reach the mezzanine with board games and an area for the kids to play, which is accessed by a stairs.

There is a barbeque and patio furniture to enjoy the evening sunsets from this lovely cottage.

Local area & Tourist Attractions

Cleggan is a picturesque fishing village with a busy village harbour. Ferries leave the pier daily for Inishbofin Island, and there is also a ferry to Inishturk. Cleggan has four bars (Oliver's, Joyce's, Newman's, and The Pier Bar), one grocer, and a post office. It also boasts a children's playground, community hall, and lots of car parking spaces.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:
Depending on the location of your booking, a non-refundable Utility Contribution of €40 may apply. If applicable, this charge is paid with your holiday balance and will appear in your payment breakdown.
If no Utility Contribution is shown on your booking, we recommend contacting our call centre to confirm how utility charges are applied, as this can vary by location.
If the €40 Utility Contribution has been charged, any additional utility costs will be handled in one of the following ways:
• Paid locally to the Owner or Property Manager. Please check with them directly, as the calculation method varies by property.
• Pay As You Go electricity meter. The €40 will be credited to the meter on the first day of your stay, and you will need to top up the meter as required during your stay.
Please note that gas or oil charges, where applicable, are always payable locally based on usage and are not included in the amount paid at the time of booking.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €150 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
